In 2014, I made a life changing decision!  After all of the years working in the radio industry, I announced that I changed careers and joined House Smart ™ Realty, LLC, as a Real Estate Broker.  Customer servi ce was a big part of broadcasting, so what better way to transfer my skills than to help people buy and sell real estate.  Furthermore, I wanted to utilize my marketing skills to maximize exposure selling homes.  Currently, I am focusing on residential home sales in and around Carmel, Zionsville, Fishers, Noblesville, Brownsburg, Avon, Plainfield, Greenwood, Indianapolis and everywhere else in Central Indiana.  Here are some pictures of some celebrities I  encountered during my broadcast career.  For instance, there's Tony Bennett with his arm around Sheila, my beautiful wife of 39 years, and the late Tiny Tim, who was a very intelligent guy and knew every song written in the early part of the last century.  I had a lot of fun in the Media and brought this excitement to the real estate industry.  I'm glad I did; so if you know anyone who will be buying or selling, please tell them  about me. My reason for becoming a property manager are twofold:  First was the bad service I have received from other property management companies in the area when I call to request information -- would you believe that some of them simply will not return phone calls?  Secondly, I was requested to find renters for my sellers who cannot afford to lower the price any further in this deeply depressed market.  
 
I am a licensed principal broker, but choose to function only managing properties.    As for education,  I hold an MBA and also a PMP designation (earned through the Project Management Institute -- the PMP is a national designation.)   

To market a home for lease, I provide:
     Direct mail and email notifications to active recruitment firms, who are seeking
living space for new hires who are relocating to the Indianapolis and surrounding area
     Eblasts sent to over 1700 realtors announcing that your home is available to lease -- realtors often look for good rental properties for their clients who do not wish to buy a home yet
     Continual postings on the BLC, RENTALS.com, Craig's List, NUVO, etc.
     Credit check/report of prospective tenant along with employment and background checks
     Rent collection
     On-site monitoring of your home (drive-by monthly, inside check done twice-yearly)
     Repair and maintenance (when/if needed) using only contractors with "A"
ratings on Angie's list (because I want them to guarantee/warrant their work)
